Description We are looking for a Bilingual Spanish Administrative Assistant to join our team in Gardena, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the non-profit industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Provide outstanding customer service to parents, providers, and both internal and external teams. - Support fiscal operations by conducting research, preparing documentation, and managing spreadsheets for garnishment processing. - Assist in processing, printing, mailing, and responding to inquiries related to provider payments. - Handle provider payment-related calls, including check verifications, through the calling queue. - Update and maintain provider files in the internal database, including monthly union dues management. - Collaborate with fiscal staff on special projects and assignments as needed. - Perform general administrative tasks to ensure smooth department operations. - Stay organized and maintain accurate records in accordance with contractual obligations and departmental standards. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or customer service role. - Proficiency in answering inbound and outbound calls with professionalism. - Strong skills in data entry and email correspondence. - Competency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. - Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
