Position Overview: The DHS Division of Aging Services (DAS), Adult Protective Services (APS) seeks candidates for Adult Protective Services Case Manager 2 . This role is based in Savannah, Chatham County, GA, with travel to Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, Wayne, Appling, & Camden counties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate protective service reports meeting APS criteria and determine intervention appropriateness promptly.
• Assess risk levels and act to ensure client safety.
• Provide follow-up and resources to prevent recurrence of abuse/neglect/exploitation.
• Initiate legal guardianship processes as a last resort for incapacitated adults.
• Maintain documentation and complete reports timely.
• Stay updated on policies, laws, and trends through training.
• Perform additional professional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or
• One year of experience at the Adult Protective Services Case Manager 1 level or equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience with issues such as family violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, elderly or disabled services.
• Bachelors degree in Human Services or related field.
• Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
