Associate Data Quality Analyst

Location : This position can be located from a home-based office in the US (Eastern or Central time zone)

Bentley Systems is hiring an Associate Quality Analyst for our Data Advancement Team within the Data Operations Organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts and process plans. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to perform and validate changes, document processes and be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets quality standards and is fully functional. 

Responsibilities 

• Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements 

• Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process 

• Recommend, implement, and monitory preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved 

• Identify and remedy defects within the production process 

• Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance and quality of the service or product. 

• Document SOX processes and be point of contact for audits

Required Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field. Commensurate work experience will be considered in lieu of degree 

• Meticulous attention to detail 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

• Analytic and problem-solving abilities 

• Ability to provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues 

Desired Skills 

• Basic knowledge of SQL 

• Familiarity with PowerBI 

• Familiarity with data warehousing platforms (i.e. Snowflake, Azure Data Warehouse, etc.) 

• Familiarity with analytics platforms (i.e. Spark, Databricks, etc.) 

• Scripting languages such as Python a plus 

• Good understanding of code repositories such as GIT a plus
