Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a passion for sports to elevate the AstroTurf brand. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of marketing experience and a deep understanding of marketing and will focus their efforts on the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage advertising programs, corporate identity development and implementation, special events, and market research activities.
  • Work with a team of marketing professionals and ensure collaboration across departments.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget and analyze ROI to maximize the efficiency of marketing spend.
  • Manage the creation and development of promotional materials, including brochures, booths, photos, videos, and online content.
  • Work with the events manager to plan and coordinate participation in customer events, industry events and trade shows.
  • Manage and create social media content in conjunction with team members.
  • Collaborate with the direct sales team and partners to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events and sponsorship activations.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and ROI.
  • Identify key organizations to create long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and partners.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Develop KPIs to track and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives and maintain the marketing action plan.
  • Create activities to generate leads for the sales teams.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and the competitive landscape to keep AstroTurf at the forefront of the market.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of marketing management, sports industry a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully while keeping an eye on the details. Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in high-stress environments.
  • Experience driving content, building awareness and experience on a regional and national level.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion, with a wide range of stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service and ability to drive outcomes.
  • Driven, self-starter, resourceful and able to work with minimal direction.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • BA/BS degree Marketing or equivalent experience required.
