Provides effective leadership for all clinical and business functions urgent care facilities, including excellence in customer service, human resources, information systems, patient-focused clinical care, quality assurance and financial management. Provides leadership for all clinical functions in an urgent care (InstaCare/KidsCare) facility. These urgent care facilities operate with extended hours (12-24 hours) 7 days/week with rotating physician assignments. Typically, the facility will have approximately 5 to 10 full-time physicians and between 10 to 30 or more staff FTEs. This position has financial accountability, supervisory responsibility (staffing, hire, fire, evaluations, and disciplines), and may serve as the clinical lead in a larger facility. This position may also manage other complementary and co-located physician practices. Job Essentials include Financial Management accountabilities such as developing and managing operational and capital budgets, maintaining financial literacy, managing accounts payable, inventory control, and facility assets. Human Resources Management accountabilities include payroll accuracy, conducting interviews, onboarding, staff and provider rounding, promoting engagement, recognition, training, and maintaining staffing levels. Information Management accountabilities include effective use of billing and telephone systems, compliance with IT resources, coding accuracy, audits, privacy laws (HIPAA), and use of online resources. Leadership accountabilities include promoting a positive culture, effective communication, positive physician relations, maintaining functional relationships, and inspiring others. Clinical Care Management accountabilities include promoting positive patient relations, service recovery, care delivery processes, quality improvement, and patient feedback mechanisms. Patient Care Delivery Systems accountabilities include developing and implementing clinical policies, promoting adherence to clinical standards, and monitoring quality measures. Facility Management accountabilities include safety and security inspections, emergency preparedness, MSDS accessibility, facility maintenance, and equipment upkeep. Accounts Receivable Management accountabilities include financial assistance practices, coordination with billing, collection practices, registration practices, financial scorecard measures, and coding compliance. Other Management Responsibilities include exploring innovations in patient care delivery, marketing activities, public relations, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, current RN license, current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, four years of healthcare leadership experience, experience developing relationships with physicians, strong computer skills, demonstrated leadership and ethics. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an ambulatory outpatient clinic environment. Physical Requirements include ability to see and read information, frequent verbal communication, manual dexterity for equipment and computer use. Location: Nevada Central Office, Las Vegas, Nevada. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, no weekends or holidays. Pay Range: $43.67 - $67.41 per hour, exempt, benefits eligible.
