MB Attorney Search has been engaged by a national, Am Law 100 law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney for its thriving and growing practice. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Florida litigation lawyer to join a highly respected firm that offers a fully remote work arrangement while maintaining a strong, collaborative culture.
About the Role
This position is perfect for a litigation attorney with 3–7 years of complex commercial litigation experience who wants to handle high-stakes business disputes in both Florida state and federal courts. You will work closely with an elite Financial Services & Capital Markets litigation team while enjoying the flexibility of a work-from-home attorney job.
Candidates must have an active Florida Bar license and currently practice in Southwest Florida (Lee County or Collier County preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation from investigation through trial or settlement
Conduct factual investigations, oversee discovery in commercial disputes, and prepare strategic pleadings and motions
Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and represent clients in mediations
Participate in trials or arbitrations (second-chair experience preferred)
Advise clients in financial services, construction litigation, and other commercial sectors
Work on both litigation and administrative/arbitration matters
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
3–7 years of Florida commercial litigation experience
Active Florida Bar license; current practice in Southwest Florida
Exceptional legal research and legal writing skills
Judicial clerkship experience with a federal court (preferred, not required)
Strong client communication and case strategy skills
Ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Must live within driving distance to the Lee and Collier court house.
