Data Warehouse Architect/Manager AssuranceAmericais seeking an experienced Manager / Architect of Data Warehouse Engineering tojoin our growing ranks as we continue to transform the way technology impactsthe insurance business. You will work with a small team of experienced ITprofessionals and interface directly with stakeholders to understand theirchallenges and develop solutions. Your daily contributions will have direct,positive impacts on our employees, agents, and customers. You will play apivotal role in delivering scalable, high-performing data solutions thatempower Product, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Finance/Accounting, Salesand other business functions with reliable data sources. Your leadership willhelp drive modernization efforts, leveraging cloud technologies to enhancedata-driven decision-making in a highly regulated, data-intensive industry. About the ROLE Each day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as Data Warehouse Architect/Manager in ITyou will: Leadthe design, development, and optimization of data warehouse solutions thatsupport core P&C insurance functions such as Product, Underwriting, Claims,Actuarial, Customer Service, Finance/Accounting, Sales, regulatoryreporting, and customer analytics. Manageand mentor a team of data warehouse engineers, fostering continuousimprovement, technical excellence, and collaboration. Architectrobust, secure, and scalable data pipelines and models using tools /platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure Synapse, SQLServer, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI . Partnerwith departmental teams to understand data requirements and translate theminto effective actionable data solutions. OverseeETL/ELT processes to integrate data from third-party data sources. Driveadoption of modern data architecture (cloud, data lakehouse,real-time data integration) to improve agility and performance. Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., state reporting, NAICguidelines, data privacy laws) in all data warehouse processes. Establishand maintain documentation, metadata management, data quality, andgovernance frameworks. Evaluateemerging tools and technologies to continually improve data warehousingcapabilities.

Required Minimum 10 years of experience in data warehouse engineering, including experienceas an Architect , with a track record of delivering solutions indata-intensive industries (insurance strongly preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience managing data warehouse engineering teams . Provenexpertise with Microsoft cloud / data technologies , including:

SSIS,SSRS, SSAS

PowerBI Demonstratedexperience with enterprise-scale data modeling, ETL/ELT design,performance tuning, and data governance. Experienceworking with structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data. Excellentleadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Abilityto balance technical depth with strategic leadership to align datasolutions with business goals. Preferred
  • Prior experience delivering data solutions forunderwriting, claims analytics, actuarial modeling, or regulatory reporting ina P&C insurance environment.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g.,Microsoft Purview) and data privacy regulations relevant to insurance data.
  • Industry certifications in Microsoft Azure orrelated technologies.
  • Exposure to big data and advanced analytics technologies (e.g., Databricks, Spark) within the Microsoft stack.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
