**Job Title: Environmental Technician**
**Job Description**
This role involves segregating and packaging material for transport, ensuring all required paperwork is completed in accordance with regulations and policies. You will assist with maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials, while adhering to Health & Safety procedures. The position requires the operation of mobile equipment to move containers and load/unload trailers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Segregate and package materials for transport, completing required paperwork in compliance with regulations.
+ Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials.
+ Follow Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis procedures as outlined.
+ Lift and carry up to 50lbs while adhering to safety rules.
+ Operate mobile equipment to move containers to and from storage and treatment areas.
+ Load and unload trailers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of Hazwoper regulations.
+ Ability to use a respirator.
+ Understanding of construction and environmental science.
+ Experience in environmental fieldwork, including soil sampling and remediation.
+ Familiarity with wastewater management.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred certification: 40-hour Hazwoper.
+ Respirator certification.
+ Additional certifications are preferred but not necessary.

**Work Environment**
The work environment requires wearing PPE including safety glasses, hard hats, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirators. Facial hair is not allowed due to respirator requirements. The role involves physical activities such as lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Inglewood, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
