Head Start Teacher Aide

This position is a full time (10 months/year) position and is based at the Vienna Head Start in Vienna, Illinois . It does come with a benefit package (including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan). This position is responsible for assisting the teacher with the academic, social-emotional growth, and development of all preschool aged children in their care.
Qualifications: At a minimum the applicant must be at least 19 years of age with a CDA or enrolled in a CDA program to be completed within 2 years or an Associate Degree with at least six hours in Early Childhood; prefer an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood with experience in an early childhood setting.
