Come join Lockheed Martin's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon \(LRHW\) team\. Our system will travel at Mach 5 \(over a mile per second\)\. Helping us build a system that goes that fast means overcoming a number of difficult physics and engineering challenges\. You will be integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on a highly accelerated schedule to support the Warfighter\. LRHW will be capable of flying at 5x the speed of sound and will provide a timely response to varying threat scenarios\. If this intrigues you, come join our LRHW team\. As a Mechanical Integration Engineer you will: - Develop mechanical interfaces for the tactical vehicle subsystems and components - Support mechanical design trade studies - Develop interface control drawings, subassembly engineering and tactical vehicle system\-level engineering using CREO - Regularly communicate with internal customers and program management - Drive the development of hardware within cost and schedule constraints - Demonstrates an outstanding work ethic and is knowledgeable across a broad range of topics in mechanical engineering - Possess good process focus and is able to intelligently apply standard processes to real\-world applications **Basic Qualifications:** - Understanding of Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals including structural design through education or equivalent experience/combined education - Experience or coursework in drafting and ME design techniques - Experience with Creo Parametric 3D modeling and/or CAD drawing software - Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance, US Citizenship required **Desired Skills:** - 2 years experience of solid modeling using CREO 4\.0 or similar CAD tool - Experience with basic Engineering analysis and tolerance stack\-ups - Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing \(GD&T\) - Ability to work within multidisciplinary product teams - Ability to handle multiple assignments and customers simultaneously - Active Secret Clearance **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\. **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
