Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
+ 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
+ Experience with legal compliance, policy or data governance.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
+ Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
+ Experience with user controls/interactions.
+ Experience in working cross-functionally, including engaging with legal and government affairs.
+ Ability to engage with engineers on product roadmap and on systems design.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The mission of the Google Home team is to Create a home that takes care of the people inside it and the world around it. Within that context, the mission of the Policy, Trust and Compliance (PTC) team is to make Gemini the most useful and trusted product in the home. To achieve this mission we invest in establishing privacy foundations both technical and cultural, assessing risks to trust, and developing capabilities to minimize those risks.
As the Product Manager in charge of the Home Disclosures, Consents and Permissions, you will lead efforts to ensure users are well informed and can exercise relevant control over their data and Home products. User trust is critical to support the overall Google Home mission and business objectives.
The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team
researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make
users' homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a
home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Drive the roadmap and implementation of all Home user-facing privacy and parental controls/permissions, disclosures, consents, and data/media donation for product improvements.
+ Serve as the first point of contact for all regulatory and user data related changes to Home disclosures and consents.
+ Partner across the Home organization to ensure future-proofing of controls and disclosures/consents.
