Job Description

This is an in-person office position in Lacey, WA, US. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and collaborative treatment planning for patients experiencing mental health challenges. This role is in person in our Lacey office and involves working closely with a team of dedicated mental health professionals open to collaborative and integrative care and evidence-based therapies. We highly value the patient-provider relationship. We believe the therapeutic relationship between the provider and patient is fundamental, and psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a crucial component of treatment. Building trusting relationships with our patients will result in a deeper understanding of their needs and improved outcomes. Benefits • Competitive salary with bonus opportunities • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off up to 25 days a year • 11 Paid Holidays • Continuing education reimbursement • Retirement plan with matching employer contributions • 4-day work week • Impactful work: Make a meaningful impact on the community and contribute to a more effective and accessible mental healthcare system Responsibilities: • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders.  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to develop integrative and individualized care.  • Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medicine based on a traditional/integrative/complementary/holistic framework. • Routinely establish patient/provider therapeutic relationships & provide evidence-based psychotherapy to support patients' mental health and overall well-being.  • Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.  • This role is in person in our Lacey, WA office Qualifications: • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program • ANCC Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) • Active RN and APRN license in Washington • DEA license with Schedule II-V prescribing authority (or eligibility) • Minimum 2 years psychiatric/mental health clinical experience • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills  • Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally competent care  About Company: Sound Choice Mental Health is a holistic-focused team dedicated to providing compassionate client-centered care in a supportive environment that values the strengths, knowledge, and experiences of our clinicians.
