Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly experienced System Engineer Lead (SME) to lead the evaluation, development, and support of enterprise business systems. This role is responsible for aligning IT systems with business objectives, managing complex technical projects, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep technical expertise, leadership, and a consultative approach to enterprise IT operations. This role is located in Huntsville, AL. Key Responsibilities: Review, analyze, and evaluate complex business systems and user needs. Formulate systems and solutions that align with organizational goals and business strategies. Document user needs, system requirements, and functional specifications. Lead system planning, integration, and architecture efforts across server, storage, and network domains. Provide expert consultation on enterprise-level infrastructure and virtualization technologies. Support accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes in accordance with the customer's ATO framework. Ensure compliance with NIST 800-series, FISMA, and related federal cybersecurity standards. Evaluate and manage NIST 800-53 control implementations and provide recommendations using GRC tools. Collaborate across teams to develop secure, scalable, and optimized IT environments. Lead system troubleshooting and performance tuning across Windows, virtualization, and network layers.
