Title: Quality Assurance Analyst (Trading Systems)

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Hybrid 2/3 days a week)

We are seeking a QA Analyst to join a fast-paced trading technology environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend QA testing with exposure to trading system functionalities. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute functional and regression testing of backend and server-side components in a trading ecosystem.
• Understand trading workflows and ensure all core trading functionalities are thoroughly validated.
• Write and maintain test cases and test scripts for complex system processes.
• Work closely with developers and senior QA team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Log defects, track bug fixes, and perform re-testing as needed.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications:

• 2 5 years of QA experience, preferably in backend or server-side application testing.
• Basic understanding of trading systems or financial market operations.
• Hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux environments (navigating, scripting, logs review).
• Familiarity with QA tools, processes, and defect tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to automated testing tools or scripting is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation.
